Our ISO manufacturing processes begins with raw materials intake. Our quality System begins with purchasing only mill certified materials. Each part you purchase has been subjected to the most rigorous QC inspection using instruments and gauges certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Your parts are of the most precise contours, tolerances and finishes available.  All raw materials are identified during check-in by inspection against the Purchase Order Number and description. Materials are clearly labeled with the heat treat number, purchase order number, material designation, and size. The material purchase order number is traceable to the CMTR’s. When material is issued to the shop, the bar stock is cut from the unlabeled end and marked with a work order number, material designation and the purchase order number. This same information is recorded onto the work order when issued for machining. This process ensures traceability from the work order to the material purchase order and certifications.

Why do we replace valve trim? Because of flashing or cavitation.  You can see an example of valve cavitation and wear, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRk1SWucy1s

Work orders are released to the shop with full instructions as to the materials, quantities, part numbers, required outside processes, and applicable specifications. Parts manufacturing is then performed in strict accordance with the Quality Program to a unique drawing, with full material trace ability being maintained throughout the production cycle. Parts are checked dimensionally during the initial machine setup, throughout the machining process, and at final inspection. All parts are 100% inspected to verify compliance with the drawing and work orders. Part numbers, work order numbers, material, and customer stock numbers are etched on all parts.
